Placemat Instructions:
1. With the Buttercup Yellow paint base coat all of the placemats using the foam
roller. Allow this to dry.
2. Cut the base tulip and leaves out of the stencil as shown in the picture.
Spray the back of the stencil with adhesive and place in the upper center of the
placemat. You will repeat this design four times. (Mark the center of the placemat
with a light pencil mark.
3. With the brush, pick up a small amount of Blue Bell
and brushing towards the center of each petal
to avoid pushing paint under the edge of the stencil). Repeat for each tulip. Clean
brush. Next, using the Sprout Green, paint the leaves. (optional: you can lightly
blend in a little bit of the Buttercup Yellow paint for shading on the petals and
leaves). Repeat the same process for the tulips and the leaves, as shown in photo.
Let dry completely before sealing (#5, below).
4. Keep in mind that variations in colors and
tones may be achieved by using different
colors and different amounts of paint together.
5. Seal with Clear Coat.
Optional Placemat color variation (shown above)
A. Mix 1 part Pink Carnation to 2 parts Cloud White paint to achieve the pale pink
background for the placemats.
B. Mark the center
of the placemat with a light pencil mark. Spray the back of the stencil with
adhesive.
C. Place stencil on one side and paint the petals on the
tulips with Blue Bell paint. Paint the leaves using Sprout Green paint. (optional:
you can lightly blend a little bit of the Buttercup Yellow paint for shading on the petals
and leaves).

Centerpiece Instructions:
1. With the Buttercup
Yellow paint, use the flat brush to base coat the rim of your pot. Mix 1 part
Carnation Pink to 2 parts Cloud White to base coat the remainder of the pot. Apply
to all surfaces that will be visible. If coverage is not complete, re-apply.
Clean brush. (Note: If you wish to use this pot for live plants with soil and water,
you will need to coat the inside of the pot with Clear Coat).
2. Cut apart the smallest tulip, stem and leaf from the stencil with scissors.
Apply spray adhesive to the back of the stencil and allow it to dry until
tacky. Position the stencil with the tulip on the side of pot. With
the brush, lightly pick up a small amount of Blue Bell and brush towards
the center of each petal. (optional:
you can lightly blend a little bit of the Buttercup Yellow paint for shading on the
petals). We spaced this design 8 times evenly around the pot.
3. After cleaning the brush, pick up
some of the Sprout Green and paint the leaves. (optional: you can lightly blend a
little bit of the Buttercup Yellow paint for shading on the leaves).
4. Keep in mind that variations in colors and tones may be achieved by
using different colors and different amounts of paint together.
5. Let dry completely before using.
6. Paint saucer as shown in photo using Carnation Pink and Buttercup Yellow.
