Instructions for Centerpiece

1. Mix Cloud White and Golden Honey paint to achieve an off white color for your base coating on the pot. Apply to all surfaces that will be visible using the 1" flat brush. Allow this to dry. If coverage is not complete, re-apply. Clean brush. (Note: If you wish to use this pot for live plants with soil and water, you will need to coat the inside of the pot with Clear Coat).

2. Dab a small amount of Golden Honey with damp sea sponge, blot on paper towel. Lightly sponge onto rim of pot.

3. Cut apart the stencils with scissors. Apply spray adhesive to the back of the stencil and allow it to dry until tacky. Position the stencil on the side of the rim and pot. Use the masking tape to secure the edges of the stencils. With a stencil brush, lightly pick up a small amount of Pine Green on the brush, blot excess off onto a paper towel. Then, lightly dab color onto the tops of the chili of the stencil. Use this technique for all the other areas of the stencil, using Geranium Red for chilies and Golden Honey for vines. You may shade the chilies with green and highlight with white.

4. Keep in mind that variations in colors and tones may be achieved by using different colors and different amounts of paint together.

5. Add your finishing touches by arranging and securing greenery inside the pot.

Instructions for Chili Placemats:

1. Mix Cloud White and Golden Honey paint to achieve an off white color for your base coating on the pot. Apply to all placemats using the 1" flat brush. Allow this to dry.

2. Clip out the large chili stencil from the background. Spray the back of the stencil with adhesive and place in the upper left corner of the placemat.

3. Paint the tops of the chili peppers with Pine Green and lightly paint the sides of the chili peppers with the green (for shading). Next, with the Geranium Red, paint the chili peppers. Then, using Golden Honey paint the vines.

4. Remove stencil and place in the bottom right corner just a portion of the stencil to add a few chilies and paint as above.

5. Allow to dry, then place the lattice stencil on the placemat lining up the slats with the bottom of the placemat. Paint using Golden Honey and highlight with cloud white. Move lattice up and continue the pattern until the bare spots are covered with lattice. Be sure to not to paint areas that overlap the chili design.

6. Seal with Clear Coat.
